About

This blog came about when I was tired of sitting on my tail watching T. V.(Modern Family although hilarious, and not truly appreciated isn’t exactly the best way to spend your evenings).

I have loved moose for as long as I can remember. The first moose I ever saw I think it was in 1983 or 1984,  I would have been four or five at the time and I distinctly remember being at my Grandpa Critchlow’s cabin, and my grandpa saying there were some moose outside,  I remember running to the window and seeing a bull, a cow, and year old calf walking down the road next to the cabin.  I was so excited that I ran to the front door, flung it open and yelled “Hey Moose”, I remember that cow stopped,  looked at me and then disappeared into the forest. I was hooked.  Since that day I have spend a good part of my life drawing, writing, photographing and writing about moose.

This little moose blog is dedicated to my Grandpa and Grandma Critchlow, who without them these memories would not be possible.
