One of my favorite show growing up was the insanely funny cartoon show “Ren and Stimpy” a slightly odd cartoon show that ran on Nickelodeon in the 90′s. One of the hilarious bits that was on this extremely funny and slightly crude show was a mock add for a board game called “Don’t wiz on the electric fence”.

This moose that gets a shock from a electric fence when it tries it get into a residents vegetable garden doesn’t have anything [...]

Moose attacks are really nothing to joke about unless of course the moose is attacking a swing, mail box, or a cast iron moose.

Fortunately for this Alaskan gentleman who was attacked by a moose he has his wife armed with a shovel to thank for rescuing him from possibly a fatal experience. The man’s wife successfully chased off the perturbed moose before it could do anymore damage and was able to get the man to a hospital where he remains [...]

It has to be quite a sight to see when you get up in the morning to find a moose not only on your roof, but also that he has found a way to fall through it. Judging from the picture it looks like this is a lot more uncomfortable for the moose then the home owner, that is of course unless the home owner also fell through the same roof in rescuing thin young moose.

It’s a photo that speaks for itself I only hope that the moose was able to swim to safety and if not, I hope that the end was painless because I can’t imagine getting run over by a boat of any size let alone an ocean cruiser. If the photo is legit this one of the best moose photo’s I have seen in along time, or at least since early November.

I have to admit that I get a little goofy when I see a moose and I can even admit I may look like a kid on Christmas but I have to chuckle at these Norwegians and there expressions after having close call with a moose walking down a forest road in Norway.

For over 3 years I have been following a New Zealand man by the name of Ken Tustin a biologist who spent the past 35 years in search of moose in New Zealand’s Fiordland. The Fiordland is a very remote and large wilderness area in New Zealand and very well could be the last stronghold for a moose.

Moose were first brought to the large Pacific Island in 1910 where they lived for the next 40 years until the last one [...]

It’s the New Year and with it comes those yearly Resolution’s that we make only to abandon when February rolls around. This year I made a resolution to not only exercise and read more but to write in this moose post as much as I possibly can. This mean’s I will need to once again scour the web for any moose related content and present it to my minimal follower’s in a way that is both slightly interesting and humorous.

In an effort to curb the increasing amount of moose car collisions in Canada, fences are constructed to make sure that the big brutes stay out of the way of vehicles and those who drive them. However every so often a moose gets a little confused and finds himself trapped within the fence. Here is a interesting story where this exact thing took place.

Check it Out

Only in Alaska would a 11oo pound moose make it’s way into a hospital. I love moose and I love Alaska however, I can’t imagine that Hospital staff at this Alaskan hospital, loved it too much when Bullwinkle decided to pay a visit. I would hope for the moose that she came during visiting hours.
